It has been the trend for the past several weeks,the judiciary under attack on claims of corruption and misconduct setting the records in person for the first time,CJ Koome called on thoe with complaints against the judiciary to register their complaints.
In a press address attended by commissioners of the Judicial Service Commission, chair and Chief Justice Martha Koome expressed commitment in dealing with corruption in the Judiciary.
Koome said that independence of the Judiciary is more important,now adding that that continuous attacks puts the country and press peace in a constitutional crisis as she has called on fair treatment of judges following recent attacks adding that the concerned judges are entitled to deal with the process.
Koome`s remarks comes just a day after Nairobi Lawyer Evans Ondieki faulted Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua threats about a high court Judge Esther Maina as he declared that he would file a petition seeking the removal of Justice Maina from office after she declared part of hs wealth ass proceeds of crime in 2022.
