Patrick Wangamati a father to former Bungoma governor Wycliffe Wangamati has narrated on how he acquired his plot legally, accusing county government for demolishing the building belonging to former governor Wangamati, to construct a stadium in Kanduyi.
Mzee Wangamati has accused the county government for failing to adhere with the courts order, urging the current governor Kenneth Lusaka together with the national assembly speaker Moses wetangula, to help him get back his plot or be compensated.
Former governor Wycliffe Wangamati says he is the one who started developing Bungoma county without dispersing people, asking the county government to have a legal framework in matters dealing with demolition of buildings.
Wangamati says all demolition process is being done politically, accusing the speaker of the national assembly Moses wetangula, for what he said he is using their political differences to punish his family.
The expansion of Masinde Muliro stadium in Kanduyi which is expected to accommodate up to 40 thousand people will host this year’s Madaraka Day celebrations on june 1st.
