EACC says has achieved more in a period of one year for fighting against corruption cartels, according to the report released shows that 5,252 corruption cases, were received while 1,968 were being processed.
2022 – 2023 EACC report shows that 74 files were recommended for prosecution, 97 of them being forwarded to the DPP, while 22 files recommended for closure.
The commission says it recovered 3.8 billion shillings and 214 cases pending in court.the report further shows assets worth 6.63 billion shillings were traced while 40 cases descended to court.
David Oginde ethics and anti corruption commission chair says they will uphold all leaders to practice integrity and put measures to end corruption in the country.
