The Member of Parliament for Butere Constituency, Tindi Mwale, has revealed cases of fraud in the NG-DFC bursary program, leading to the dismissal of two individuals. Mwale disclosed this during a bursary disbursement event at Lufumo Secondary School, where he emphasized his commitment to accountability and transparency in the use of public resources.
According to Mwale, his independent investigation uncovered irregularities in the management of the bursary funds, prompting immediate action against the implicated individuals. The MP warned that such malpractices would not be tolerated in his constituency.

In addition to addressing the bursary issue, Mwale issued a stern warning to engineers responsible for development projects, citing a recent case of negligence. He stated that incompetent engineers would no longer be considered for opportunities in Butere Constituency.
Mwale reaffirmed his commitment to working with President William Ruto to drive development in the area, including road construction and increased bursary allocations. He urged students to focus on their studies, noting that the bursary program aims to ease their education burden and improve performance.
