The national commission on human rights has condemned the increased level of extrajudicial killings in the country,violent criminal acts and sudden disappearance of people.
The commission further wants a stop to the forceful evacuations of people from their properties and the demolition of residences and ensure respect for human rights.
The commission has applauded the government on re re-enacting the mental health amendment bill 2022 which stipulates the role of the national government as well as the county government on issues on mental health.
Moreover the commission has said, there is a need for the government to recruit more medical practitioners as well as cushioning kenyans on the cost of living.
