The tragedy at the Bajun Tower which is along Mukunga Street happened when the scaffolding of the 19 storey building under construction was reduced to its debris. Most of the people at least 16 injured were construction workers with rescue operations underway.
At least four people have succumbed and others injured after falling off the 15th floor of a construction building in the Pangani area in Nairobi. The building was collapsing while the workers were still inside constructing.
Rescuers coming from different agencies led by the Nairobi County Disaster Management groups responded at Mukunga Street in the Pangani Area, and attended to those injured first before admitting them to various hospitals for further treatment
The teams attending this site known as Bajun Towers still under construction confirming the deaths of four people.
However the public calls out for action by the government to intervene in assisting the bereaved Families with financial support to cover forth coming costs.
However those who are responsible for the safety, inspection and approval are to be held accountable and questionable for the tragedy
