It’s now two days after cabinet secretary of education Ezekiel Machogu released the KCSE results at moi girls eldoret, now member of Parliament from both government and Azimio la umoja coalition have now asked the government to allocate the CDF funds to enable students continue with learning.
The law makers were led by rarieda member of Parliament Otende amollo, while addressing the press they used the opportunity to lament on lateness of the disbursement of the fund, now they have given the government 7 days to allocate the money in different constituencies.
Mps have said the government has been promising to disburse the funds which up to now nothing has been done.
On the other hand the legislators have accused cabinet for treasury njuguna ndung’u for misleading the speaker of the national assembly Moses wetangula on the disbursement of the funds.
On December last year president William Ruto gave a promise to the members of Parliament after they threaten to sabotage government’s plan to allocate the amount.
