Whitney Ngati an emerging writer who is a communication student at Day star University , had her dreams of being a writer since her childhood and this reality dawned on her when she was pursuing her course in film and animation at the Multimedia University of Kenya.
The book “unmasking manipulation” is her first book which she launched on the 2nd January 2024 at the Bungoma High School
The enlightening book focuses on exploring the three worlds of manipulation, delving into its impact on every aspect of life , this offers a unique biblical perspective . This course provides a biblical perspective , controlling the psychology behind manipulation and learning to identify its methods.
Whitney also experienced challenges in her writing journey citing the main challenge as the time to balance between her studies and that of focusing on writing . this she says was a big obstacle but after being able to streamline her time schedule she was able to accomplish her project
she encourages the emerging writers to focus on the things that will empower them and ensure that everything is beneficial , to themselves and to the entire community.
the book “unmasking manipulation” costs 600 shillings and is available in bungoma at the ng’arisha sacco building and also at the saint francis catholic bookshop.
