During the Parliamentary Committee meeting, Cabinet Secretary, Ababu Namwamba reassured the members of parliament on the preparation for co-hosting AFCON in 2027.
The completion of stadiums is expected to be finished by December 2025 to be in line with the AFCON standards. In the same meeting, FKF president, Nick Mwendwa talked about the schedule put in place for Harambee stars for both under 20 national team and the senior team in the upcoming Confederation Cup tournaments, which is below the AFCON, in the process they will be scouting for replacements of players as they are building a strong team for 2027 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
KCB the Reigning Champion.
The reigning champions, KCB did a marvelous job by thrashing Kenya Army in their 3rd leg of the Volleyball Federation League Match played in Busia. KCB is prepared and hoping to retain its glory throughout the season.
Loss of another Legend.
The Kenya Athlete was shocked yesterday by losing another Legend, Henry Rono while admitted in Nairobi Hospital. He participated in 3000 and 5000 m races and also in steeplechase. He is a 3-time record holder in the 3000 m race.
