Both Kenya kwanza and azimio la umoja leaders have celebrated Raila’s ambition to run for the African union chair AU, and later on is former Nigerian president Ulusogon Obasanjo.
Speaking at different church functions Kenya kwanza leaders have described odinga as the best candidate to be the AU chair.
Leaders were speaking while attending the western leaders caucus that bring together more than 50 leaders from both government and opposition side, wetangula says as the Kenya kwanza administration they are in support of opposition leader to be the first AU chair from east Africa region.
Other Kenya kwanza leaders from rift valley continued to support azimio leader Raila Odinga, they spoke while attending a church service asking leaders to also create job opportunities for the youths.
The AU is currently headed by moussa Faki from Chad Faki’s term will end this year and whoever elected will serve the African union until 2028.
