Yesterday’s Man City clash with Liverpool at Anfield stadium, marks the end of the meeting between Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola as the German coach plans to step down.
He oversaw his team having a comeback in the second half after being awarded a penalty after a foul play in the penalty box. The moment was given to Alexis Mac Allister who did not miss and canceled out John Stones’ score.
Liverpool was denied a last-second penalty against Manchester City because VAR Stuart Attwell felt Jeremy Doku’s foot was in a ‘reasonable position’. Doku kicked Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister in the chest and thigh as City attempted to clear the ball following a corner.
A Blow Home Loss for Aston Villa.
In a different match but in the same league, Aston Villa received a thrashing against Tottenham which ended in a 4-0 victory for the guest team, Tottenham.
