According to the amend, the number of these positions will not surpass 22 individuals occupying these roles will be appointed by the president based on the public service commission observe, regionals and gender balance
In a report proposed amendment to a series of laws ,the justice and legal affairs committee of the National Assembly has asserted that the establishment of the office of the CASs is necessary.
It has been approximately 8 months since the 3 judges bench declared the position of CASs unconstitutional thereby thwarting the aspirations of roughly 55 individuals seeking to join the government ranks however the parliament is now preparing to reintroduce the position of the CASs
