Easter started 2000 years ago as a Christian feast but it is still relevant today,many people across the world know easter as the colourful Easter eggs and easter bunnies.
During his life on earth it’s believed that Jesus faced alot of opposition mainly from the Jewish people who did not acknowledge him as the son of God.
PCMA church Myanga celebrated the feast through warships and praise, in remembrance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
They were encouraged to be patient and sharing out whatever they have with others,it was symbolized by sharing of the holy communion.
Jesus resurrection is the cornerstone of the christian faith regarding forgiveness of all the sins and life after death,his resurrection taught all christians that Jesus conquered sin and death.
The message from the preachers was that Easter is a time of joy and celebration for christians symbolizing the life over death and the promise of life after death through Jesus Christ.
