The 38 match week EPL came to an end yesterday on 19th May .The league which commenced on 11th August last year had fantastic matches to keep the fans entertained.
From the massive signings at the start of the season to sensational goals scored the EPL 23/24 season was fun to watch. The title race was tense and the matches had to go to the last day to find the winner.
Although Arsenal had a fantastic season scoring the most goals in their history while conceding the least it was not enough to earn them the title which they had been waiting for the last 20years.Liverpool another title racer contender lost energy on the way and left it to Manchester City and Arsenal FC. The now 4 time winners in a row did not disappoint having a fantastic season .
Manchester City alias the citizens close the wrap with a 3 goal banger against West ham utd who managed to net only once …a goal by Mohammed Kudus. Phil Foden scored a brace and Rodri sealed the victory. Phil Forden who’s also the player of the season had a total of 19 goals and registered a total of 8 assists ..another City maestro Erling Haland bagged the pl golden boot after netting a total of 27 goals making history by winning back to back pl golden boot having done so in 22/23 season.
Young player of the season was given to Chelsea wonderkid Cole Palmer while Brentford’s loanee to Arsenal David Raya won the golden glove award having kept 16 clean sheets. As usual the top 4 Man city Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa secure a place on the UEFA champions league while 5th placed Tottenham will play in the Uefa europa league the coming season.
The blues came 6th having had a rough season and thus will participate in the uefa conference league. Man utd finished 8th and their hopes on participating in Europe football depends on wheather they win the FA when they play against Man city on the 25th of May. On the relegation zone stands Sheffield utd Luton Town and Burnley utd. We already can’t wait for the 24/25 season .
