In an effort to address the rising crime rates in Maraka ward, Webuye East Constituency, the CDF office has taken a proactive step by constructing a police station in Nzoia village.
According to Webuye East MP Martin Wanyonyi, this police station will greatly benefit the local residents. He urges the police to refrain from harassing the residents and instead focus on combating crime in the area.
Additionally, the member of parliament reveals that the CDF fund will also be utilized to construct the offices for the deputy commissioner of the area, Martha Ng’etich, as well as the Ocpd of Webuye East. Wanyonyi calls upon the residents to cooperate with the police in order to enhance security measures.
