It’s now two weeks after president William Ruto appointed key opposition leaders in his cabinet, now Azimio principal Raila Odinga says the move by ODM joining the broad-based government, was approached by president William Ruto, who wanted experts to help him run the government affairs, following the countrywide protests by the youths.

Odinga who was speaking at kibra in Nairobi says he accepted president William Ruto’s call to form a broad-based government that required him to offer names of key leaders to run different ministries; which included national treasury, cooperatives, mining and blue economy.
On the issues raised by the Gen z during the protests including high cost of living, corruption and unemployment, Odinga assured Kenyans that the leaders he has offered to Kenya kwanza administration will deliver.
Odinga also condoled with traders at Toi market, following the outbreak of fire that killed four people and property worth millions of shillings got destroyed he has asked Nairobi county government to start constructing the market.
Azimio principal went on contributing a total of 1.5million shillings together with 1000 iron sheets to all victims who lost their properties.
