This was Odinga’s statement at a funeral service in Elgeyo Marakwet on Monday, where he alleged that former president Uhuru Kenyatta, told him to approach president William Ruto to stabilize the country, claims that has been dismissed by jubilee party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni.
Jeremiah Kioni has claimed that jubilee party leader Uhuru Kenyatta,did not involve in any discussion nor the move that resulted in the formation of the new broad-based government, by president William Ruto.
Following a move by president William Ruto, of appointing some of the ODM members to join his cabinet, Kioni says now Kalonzo Musyoka has taken over as the new leader for the Azimio la umoja coalition.
As per the constitution of Kenya; Kioni alleged that it’s illegal for the majority party UDA, working hand in hand with the minority party orange democratic ODM.
