The acting inspector general of police Gilbert Masengeli, has been ordered to appear before the Milimani law courts, after failing to appear before it yesterday.
High court judge Lawrence Mugambi, ordered the acting inspector general to appear in court, to explain on how the three Kitengela men abducted and why have not been released since their abduction. The three abducted men were Bobi Njagi, Jamil Longton and Aslam Longton.
LSK through their president Faith Odhiambo filed a case on the report of abduction of the three Kitengela men, alleging that the men were abducted by police officers during the period of Gen z protests, and taken to unknown places.
Earlier during the hearing of the case of Boniface Mwangi and four others there was a drama, Mwangi with others were accused of unlawful assembly and creating disturbance. They both appeared before the court for an application filed on 26th July 2024.
