With only few months remaining before the official start of the 2025 academic year, primary school headteachers have expressed their concerns about the new CBC curriculum.
They claim that the future of students in Grade 9 is at a crossroads due to inadequate infrastructure.
The Union of Primary School Headteachers has gathered in Mombasa for their annual meeting, where Public Service Chief Felix Koskei urged the headteachers to be accountable in the management of government allocations.
These teachers have also called for a salary increase, highlighting that their responsibilities have increased due to the new CBC curriculum.
There is a possibility that studies will face significant challenges next year if the government fails to address the concerns raised by the primary school
