In recent weeks during the swearing-in of Deputy President Professor Kithure Kindiki, President William Ruto shared his sentiments, noting that he had often felt isolated in fulfilling his duties for the nation.
Despite this, President Ruto expressed high hopes for the new Deputy President, expecting Kindiki to effectively support and execute the responsibilities entrusted to him.
The President’s remarks highlighted his desire for a collaborative partnership in advancing the country’s goals.
Deputy President Kindiki’s journey began with significant responsibilities, including his appointment as the Deputy Leader of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party. This role aligns with his broader duties to assist the President in both political and governance matters. Just yesterday, Kindiki demonstrated his leadership by chairing a key committee meeting focused on governance, the social sector, and public administration, further solidifying his integral role in the administration.
