Kanduyi Parliamentary seat aspirant Collins Mukhongo has made a strong vow to transform the constituency if elected as the area Member of Parliament in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Mukhongo addressed a gathering at Bulondo PAG Church today, where he shared his vision and plans for the future of Kanduyi.During his address, Mukhongo expressed his deep concern over the neglect faced by the constituents, particularly women and youths, by their elected leaders. He emphasized the urgent need for change and commitment to uplifting the community.
Mukhongo pledged to ensure that no child in Kanduyi will be deprived of education due to lack of school fees. He highlighted the importance of education as a key to empowerment and development for the community.Additionally, he promised to fully support women through various empowerment programs aimed at enhancing their livelihoods and opportunities. “Empowering women is essential for the growth of our community,” Mukhongo stated.Infrastructure development also featured prominently in his speech, with Mukhongo vowing to improve the condition of roads to ensure they are passable, thereby facilitating better access to services and opportunities for the people of Kanduyi.
He urged the residents of Bulondo to rally behind his candidacy as they look forward to the 2027 elections, calling for unity and collective effort to bring about the necessary changes.Mukhongo further encouraged the local youth to register for identification cards, underscoring the importance of civic engagement and participation in the democratic process.
Having previously served as the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Roads in Bungoma County, Mukhongo highlighted his track record of transforming the sector and expressed his determination to bring that same level of dedication to Kanduyi.As the 2027 general elections draw nearer, Collins Mukhongo’s aspirations for Kanduyi are shaping up to be a significant focal point for voters seeking meaningful change and development in their constituency.
