Some of the schools are now finding themselves on the corridors of justice, as businessmen go to court seeking redress over pending school bills.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-post-featured-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"524\" height=\"349\" src=\"https:\/\/tandaomedia.co.ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-19.png\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail size-post-thumbnail wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" style=\"object-fit:cover;\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tandaomedia.co.ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-19.png 524w, https:\/\/tandaomedia.co.ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-19-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 524px) 100vw, 524px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>In law courts, the small claims court has registered eight cases since September 1st 2023, where schools have been sued for failing to meet the end of the bargain. A casing point, Kenblest food Limited move to court and sued the board of management, of Watuka High School to pay close to 600,000 Shillings for the supply of bread at the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 21st September 2023 Jowaka Food Store sued the board of management of Kagonye Secondary School over a 1.7 million shillings debt, for the supply of food stuffs which was done in 2022,  consent was agreed that payment be done in installment with a final installment of 250,000, to be paid on or before 30th June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The case is also touched on construction for example on 13th October 2023, the Narumoru girls secondary school board of management was sued by Betch construction  Limited for a sum of 800,000 the court however directed that since there was another matter involving the parties, the cases be consolidated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest case to make it to the small, claim court it was two days ago,where the board of management at Iriani girls is being Sued by Muiga K hardware in the case registered on 8th January 2024, the school is said to owe the suppliers a sum of 300,000 shillings for the supply of various hardware products, supplied in 2020 and 2021 as is to be mentioned on January this year ,among others<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elizabeth Kisiangani Public schools are finding themselves in trouble with suppliers and services providers as the school funding<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":1799,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[3],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1798","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-education"],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v20.11 -
