The expansion of the stadium will have the following sporting centers: a basketball court, football, volleyball, rugby, hockey, and netball pitches, a swimming pool and a hall for indoor games, and a gymnasium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stadium is targeted to carry about 20000 people becoming\u00a0the 2nd largest stadium in western Kenya after Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega. The stadium will serve as a home stadium to Nzoia Sugar FC and Bungoma Super Stars who play in the Football Kenya Federation(FKF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will be given the chance to host national and county government functions apart from sporting events.
