Kenya is set to host\u00a0 the water and\u00a0 Investor conference on sanitation, which seeks to draw investors in order to close the 0.37 financing gap. <\/p>\n\n\n

According to the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, Kenya needs to allocate an additional 0.42 billion Shillings and 365 billion Shillings beyond the current budgetary allocation of 0.48 for urban water supplies and 0.50 for sanitation services respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u00a0The government further says it expects to complete the construction of the 100 dams in the next 5years with 56 sites established across the\u00a0country where almost 33 investors\u00a0 have tabled offers to construct\u00a0the dam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
