The Citam church has partnered with various organizations and held its first marathon in Nandi County. The religious leaders urged the locals to participate in church activities.<\/p>\n\n\n

During the marathon, they had a workshop where they trained the participants and those available on the need to invest in their daily earnings in order to eradicate the hardship experienced in the country. The marathon started in Nandi Hills and ended at Kapsabet town with Amos Kiplagat taking the win on the male side while on the women’s side, Marion Kibor won.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vision of Talanta Hela.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Kenya is shaping a new era in football with the cabinet secretary of sports emphasizing the need for coaches to scout for emerging talents all over from the grassroots level. Talanta Hela teams both boys and girls have been given better training in Spain as they were engaged in tournaments and friendly matches at Nastic Training Grounds. <\/p>\n\n\n

The Nastic team had started scouting for talents in the country in 2023 and they have assured Talanta Hela officials of continuing to partner with them in the years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The girls will be given a chance to visit China in August after the second term ends. because China has produced better women footballers in recent years,\u00a0this will be a move to strengthen them and later be given priority in Harambee Starlets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talanta Hela will not only target the talents within the country but also the Kenyans in the diaspora. This move will also target players of Kenyan origin to be infused into the national team in different sporting areas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
