Over 4.5 million students who are current beneficiaries of the school feeding program to seek alternative to cater for their needs or they will be forced to stay hungry in schools in the upcoming financial year. Dr. Belio Kipsang pleads with members of Parliament to restore the financing.<\/p>\n\n\n

Dr. Belio Kipsang recent presentation to National Assembly  about the yearly budget revealed a bunch of eye opening  facts, leaving un-answered questions. Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National treasury’s decision to deny the Ministry of Education’s  request for an extra 1 billion shillings to extend a program from schools in arid and semi arid lands to those in urban slums is causing quite a stir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The free  junior school education program is also facing a setback in funding stated: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.A deficit of 15.4 billion shillings<\/p>\n\n\n\n
