Teachers are leaving Teachers Service Commission\u00a0TSC in mass, according to the teachers, steward\u00a0and delayed promotions are also pushing them out\u00a0 of Kenyan classrooms. <\/p>\n\n\n

With thousands seeking\u00a0 to practice abroad where employments are friendly speaking while signing contracts after securing well paying jobs in America, the educators called on the government to streamline and better numeration of teachers to reduce the mass exodus that will eventually lower the quality of education offered to learners<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peter Rutin a representative\u00a0of the Pisan international job placement consultants, claimed that most countries\u00a0have been struggling\u00a0with teachers shortage since the Covid 19 period since most of the trained professionals succumbed to the pandemic<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently Kenya’s education sector is already facing a huge shortage of more than one hundred thousands\u00a0 teachers. This is even as the government put on eyes the plant and employment of 46 thousand interns of jss on permanent\u00a0and pensionable terms<\/p>\n\n\n\n
