Former prime minister Raila Odinga has now backed Adani deals with government. <\/p>\n\n\n

As concerns have been raised on its opaqueness nature by Kenyans, together with a section of opposition leaders, Odinga says the country needs to upgrade it’s key infrastructures, including ports, railways, cyber connections airports and electricity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He says adani has the ability and is capable of maintaining JKIA. Odinga went on stating that the country can sustain it’s needs through private partnership, saying that many countries that have been undergoing similar challenges to kenya,are doing well under  private partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The adani group is facing rejection from different stakeholders including citizens and a section of opposition leaders led by wiper leader Kalonzo musyoka, who have vowed to challenge the indian based company in court, Parliament and as\u00a0 well us holding demonstrations questioning the hurry in which the deals are done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kalonzo has went on criticizing the broad-based government, for allowing top leaders sign deals with private partners,without conducting any public participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On matters dealing with the impeachment of deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, wiper leader says the government wants to divert Kenyans attention,from the multimillion Adani deals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
