Ruto emphasized that every Kenyan should receive an ID without discrimination, ensuring equal access for all citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The directive overturns a fee hike introduced in January 2024 by former Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki, now the Deputy President.
