Bungoma County is on the brink of a healthcare revolution as plans for a state-of-the-art Level 6 hospital take shape in Sichei village, Kabuchai Constituency. The landmark project, backed by Ksh 7.5 billion from the African Development Bank, was the focus of a high-level consultative forum held at Kibabii University, led by Governor Kenneth Lusaka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Governor Lusaka emphasized the hospital\u2019s significance, calling it \u201ca people-centered project\u201d and warning against interference from personal or political agendas. \u201cThis is a generational investment,\u201d he declared, urging unity among county leaders to ensure its success.Following a completed pre-feasibility study, Sichei was officially selected as the construction site. Dr. Juma Mukhwana, Principal Secretary for Industrialization and representative of the Ministry of Health, confirmed that the project is awaiting final financing agreements, with groundbreaking slated for March 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
