Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has urged Bungoma county residents to continue supporting the current leadership while urging youth to be creative, instead of relying on job hunting, stressing that the national and county governments are committed to providing technical training and empowering the youth economically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the graduation ceremony of Kisiwa Technical College, Lusaka praised the government’s plan to establish a level 6 hospital in the Sichei area which he said would strengthen health services in Bungoma.The leaders stressed that youth are the main resource of Bungoma County, noting that the county government has prioritized skills development through 89 vocational training centers in the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also mentioned the government’s plan in partnership with the Nyota fund to provide youth with funds to start businesses, as one way to address the problem of unemployment in the country.The event was also attended by the Permanent Secretary for Higher Education, Dr. Beatrice Inyangala, along with other national and county leaders, who joined together to celebrate the achievements of the institution’s new batch of graduates.In an intervention,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
