Tensions are running high in Kakamega after Woman Representative Elsie Muhanda accused Governor Fernandez Barasa of fueling unrest during President William Ruto\u2019s development tour in Western Kenya.Muhanda alleged that the governor has been mobilizing groups of youths whom she described as \u201cgoons\u201d to infiltrate and disrupt public rallies, including those attended by the Head of State.<\/kbd><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her remarks came after one of the president\u2019s gatherings reportedly descended into chaos, leaving several people injured and sparking panic among residents who had turned out in large numbers to hear about new projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
