The Linda Mwananchi Movement heads to Kisii County after holding its most recent rally in Thika, Kiambu County, amid growing accusations of betrayal within its leadership.The internal wrangles have intensified following remarks by Saboti MP Caleb Amisi, who has maintained that the movement should not enter into political alliances with other leaders to form the next government ahead of the 2027 General Election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His position has, however, been opposed by several leaders within the movement.Embakasi East MP Babu Owino urged Amisi to refrain from discussing the coalition’s internal affairs in public, instead calling on him to raise his concerns through the movement’s leadership structures for resolution.Amisi, in response, expressed frustration over what he described as attempts to portray him as a traitor within the movement.
