From high-volume retail hubs to quiet farm plots, these citizens embody the grit and ambition that define Kenya\u2019s Western region.Yet, beneath this vibrant display of commerce lies a delicate and increasingly difficult balancing act. Everyday business owners find themselves navigating a complex web of local municipal levies, shifting national fiscal frameworks, and tight county budget constraints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Bungoma, government policy is not an abstract concept discussed solely in legislative chambers.
