Liverpool’s pursuit of a record-equalling 20th English Premier League title remains on course following a narrow 1-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. Trent Alexander-Arnold’s decisive 76th-minute strike reinstated Liverpool’s 13-point lead at the summit, leaving them needing just two more wins from their remaining five matches to clinch the championship.The defeat confirmed Leicester City’s relegation to the Championship after just one season back in the top flight, marking a record 13th demotion from the Premier League for the Midlands club. Captain Jamie Vardy described the season as a โtotal embarrassment,โ acknowledging the collective failure of both players and the club.

Meanwhile, Arsenal kept their slim title hopes alive with a commanding 4-0 win against 10-man Ipswich Town. Leandro Trossard netted a brace, while Ipswichโs Leif Davis was shown a straight red card for a reckless tackle on Bukayo Saka.
