Manchester United has confirmed the suspension on one of their wing’ers Anthony Santos pending an allegation of assault issued against him earlier this year.
Through their website, Manchester united went on to suspend the player until the issue is solved
“Manchester United acknowledges the allegations made against Antony.” the club statement read
Players who have not participated in international matches are due back in training on Monday. However, it has been agreed with Antony that he will delay his return until further notice in order to address the allegations.
