After the national dialogue’s committee concluded their meeting in Elementaita Nakuru County, the bipartisancommittee is set to reconvene next week at Bomas of Kenya where they will make deliberations , most especially on how to tackle the issue of high cost of living.
The committee has today completed their negotiations on the pending issues on governance, but after the issue of high cost of living could not have been delt with, the committee was forced to call for more sittings to hear from experts at Bomas of Kenya starting from next week.
The committee has reached an agreement on various issues including promotions of national unity, Adequate checks and balances, bicameral parliament, fidelity to political parties and multiparty democracy.
The committee has however decided to take up the issues of high cost of living as a committee and not basing on political grounds .
