After Busia senator Okiya omtata asked the two cabinet secretaries,of energy Davis Chirchir and his counterpart finance cabinet secretary njuguna ndung’u to explain to Kenyans the real story behind the 17billion sh oil saga now azimio leader raila odinga has called for cabinet secretaries resignation.
Odinga said that the two cabinet secretaries have committed criminal offences,that azimio leader has said that C’s Davis Chirchir and Njuguna ndung’u had abused office and they must not only resign but also prosecuted.
Raila alleged that the government to government deal was a corruption scandal Wich was practiced by withdrawal of money from the exchequer against the law.
On the other side president William Ruto dismissed raila’s call of the resignation of his cabinet secretaries the head of state stated that the efforts by opposition to snatch his victory failed and the demonstration recourse is too weak to edge him out.
