It was during the court proceedings that the speaker of the national assembly, Moses Wetangula addressed the members of the parliament in regard to dress code, admittance of guests and security measures.
While making reference to the appropriate dress code rule number 9 of the speakers rule, which he said that members of the parliament were not allowed to enter the chamber, dinning room or committee room without dressing appropriately.
According to the rule number 9 of the speakers rule, male member of parliament are supposed to put on, a coat, collar, soaks,tie, long sleeved shirts, long trousers and shoes. Female
member of parliament are supposed to put on trousers and skirts that are below the knees.
