Ruto warns headteachers on school fees

President Ruto was attending an interdenominational church service at Machakusi primary school in Malaba Busia county.

Here president William Ruto defended the implementation of the contraversial social health insurance fund, which was stopped to be implemented by the court of appeal just one week ago. 

Here the head of state has urged those who went to court to oppose the program, for discriminating and lacking of key support from health care stakeholders, to allow them fulfil the promises they gave to Kenyans during campaign period.

Ruto also spoke on the issue of late disbursement of the CDF and busaries to all constituencies, the head of state sounded a warning to head of schools, saying that already the funds have been sent from the national government. 

The head of state has also asked the members of Parliament who have an increased budgetary allocation in CDF to ensure they put up ICT hubs in their wards, as a way of creating employment through online jobs platforms.

Ruto was accompanied by the speaker of the national assembly Moses wetangula, sports cabinet secretary Ababu Namwamba, prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi among others, the president launched a water project in Malakisi area which will benefit residents of Bungoma and Busia counties.
