A sombre mood to Saniak and Mosoriot families in Nandi county after a loss of their family members who died in a fatal accident in Australia.
This incident occurred on Sunday night which claimed the lives of Panal Meli and Humphrey Ruto barely a year since they left Kenya for further studies. According to preliminary police report, the vehicle they were riding in inviade over the road and hit a tree along Ton King highway at 2 am.
Saniak village in Nandi county; mourners fund wide from this homestead to condole with the parents and relatives of the late Humphrey Kipchirchir, whose life was cut short months after travelling overseas. Japhet Yego, Humphrey’s uncle says that the family is still in great shock.
After completing form four in the year 2020, in the year 2023, the late Humphrey was supported by his family and community and he was admitted at Scots college to pursue social and community development course.
At Duroto village in Mosoriot family, 15 km from the Saniak family of Panal Kipchumba Meli was inconsolable, as they were mourning the death of their third born son. The late Kipchumba travelled to Australia barely five months ago and joined Kingston university in path where he was pursuing a diploma in business management.
The family wants the government and Australian embassy to intervene and help them in process of repatriating their family members’ remains.
