The senator of kakamega county Bonny Khalwale, asked businessman Cleophas Shimanyula A.K.A Toto to publish an apology within 48hrs or file a defamation suit against the business for allegedly defaming him following the death of his worker.
Khalwale says that he will demand at least Sh.200 million from the businessman for allegedly defaming him through his lawyer Danstern Omari and Shadrack Omboi.
The senator wants the businessman to publish an apology an unqualified destruction of all the alleged defamatory statements and unconditional apology that should achieve similar prominence as the offending scandlers statement.
Bonny Khalwale’s lawyers have urged Cleophas Shimanyula to give senator Khalwale compensation of Sh.200 million. This will compensate the family of senator for having defamed the senator’s name
