Charles Gacheru has been appointed as the new chief executive for the WRC safari rally in Kenya. Gacheru is known for a nearly two-decade tenure as a director of IMG Kenya, a leading sports agency, and was also designated as the Secretary to the Oversight Team, with Namwamba himself serving as the Chairperson.
The team’s composition includes Sports Principal Secretary Peter Tum as Vice-Chair, members from the PS State Department of Tourism, the Kenya Motor Sports Federation, executives from KCB Group, and other notable personalities.
