The national assembly majority leader Kimani Ichungwa was speaking at chepsaita boys high school during the commissioning of the construction of administration block, says the Kenya kwanza administration will execute the recommendations led by the NADCO report. DAP Kenya leader Eugene Wamalwa rejected the report saying it has failed to address the high cost of living.
At the same time Senate speaker Amason Kingi has asked citizens to remain calm with president William Ruto as he tries to put measures that will revive the ailing economy.
On matters dealing with the fight against illicit brews president William Ruto’s close ally Farouk Kibet, has asked TCS to summon all the teachers who engage in drug abuse saying this will help end illegal businesses associated with alcohol.
Citizens across the country have expressed their views concerning the remarks by Kenya kwanza leaders on the high cost of living. The ten member team led by majority leader Kimani Ichungwa and Wiper leader Kalonzo musyoka earlier this month met with azimio leader Raila Odinga and later with president William Ruto at state house Nairobi to present the NADCO report for the house to adopt and debate.
