PREPRATIONS FOR MADARAKA CELEBRATIONS

With One day left to celebrate the Madaraka that will be organized for the first time in Bungoma county, some citizens have said that the celebration has stimulated the existence and development, they say this is due to cooperation between local leaders.

In addition, others have supported the performance of the government of President William Ruto, while asking him in his speech at the celebration of the ceremony, to discuss the issue of unemployment among the youth, many of whom supported him in the 2022 general election.

Elsewhere, citizens have claimed that the celebrations have created several job opportunities, which have benefited many unemployed youths.

Various guests are expected to attend the celebrations while bodaboda people and businessmen in Bungoma have the expectation that business will flourish on that day.

“We are ready to welcome president William Ruto Bungoma and we thank him for the development projects he has brought to this county, but we call on the government that all the projects started this Madaraka season should be completed on time.” Resident of Bungoma.

As this celebration approaches, some leaders from the area have claimed that it is ironic for other leaders to promote themselves as the main enthusiasts of Madaraka Bungoma.

Only some of the projects in Bungoma county benefit from Madaraka, they are the construction of the Masinde Muliro Kanduyi stadium, the construction of the airport in the Matulo area, the presence of various offices that will provide important services to the people, the construction of new roads and the repair of others , town planning among other projects.
