TSC has fired 742 teachers who took part in the recent JSS strike.
This is the part writing to their show cause letters over the industrial action. Teachers union KUPPET has initially negotiated with TSC for stay turned JSS upon their return to school by 3rd of June. KUPPET maintains it will continue with dialogue with teachers employer to reinstate the sacked teachers.
This comes after TSC legal affairs director Calvin On your issued a statement on warning the teachers that the commission will act in accordance to stay orders, regarding and ruling the employment of intern teachers.
A section of the nearly 6 thousands JSS intern teachers had halt Deimos across the country demanding enhanced to permanent and paintable.
In other case the court of appeal has temporarily suspended a previous ruling that dimmed the employment of trained unqualified teachers as interns a lawful.
The suspension allows the TSC to maintains the interns status for the teachers until either the appeal case is concluded or a compromised reached between parties involved.
