President William Ruto urged young leaders across the country to enhance their legislation, representation and oversight role.

Ruto says as leaders they are committed to mentor Kenya’s young leadership to embrace their active participation in governance.
“We are committed to mentoring Kenya’s young leadership to enhance their active participation in governance” he explained.
Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua echoed president Ruto’s remarks by asking young leaders to lead with integrity,so that they can act as a role model for the aspiring youths in the country.
On other side national assembly majority leader Kimani Ichungwa told young leaders to champion for the unity of the the entire nation, requesting president William Ruto to keep on mentoring them for the benefits of current and future generation.
The leaders were speaking during the launch of the kenya young Parliamentarians association strategic plan,among those who were present were president William and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua,speaker of the national assembly Moses wetangula, national assembly majority leader Kimani Ichungwa,and his senate counterpart Aaron cheruiyot, chair of the young Parliamentarians association Githonga Mkunji.
