Director of Hillside Endarasha academy David Kinywa, was grilled by the officers from the directorate of criminal investigation DCI, led by the DCI forensic and homicide unit team the Kenya power, ministry of the public works, EPRA together with the ministry of education, the teams were inspecting all the facilities found in the hillside Endarasha academy.
The director revealed to the authorities present, all the power installation located in the school and infrastructures used by pupils.
The directives from homicide and forensic unit led by their director Martin Nyaguto, questioned the Hillside Endarasha academy director on the incident of Thursday, that led to the fire tragedy that claimed the lives of 21 pupils.
During the investigation, concerning the fire tragedy, the Kenya power and lighting company appears to be absorbed from the blame explaining how it installed electricity at the school.
They went on dismissing claims of bulb explosion that resulted to the outbreak of fire, says non of it’s infrastructure was a fault after and before fire breakout, they denied claims of power blackout during the incident.
Other investigations pertaining the Hillside Endarasha academy has commenced today as the DNA samples being collected for the matching exercise Which will be carried out by government pathologists,.
