It’s once again the senator of Bungoma county David Wafula Wakoli, giving out information about the future of Ford Kenya party.
He has claimed that there is no specific law, that will denie the speaker of the national assembly Moses wetangula, permission to hold any position in a political party in the country.
Wakoli has emphasized that the speaker of the national assembly, is still the party leader of Ford Kenya and as leaders they will not allow their party be dissolved to join the united democratic alliance UDA, which is the ruling party within the Kenya kwanza coalition.
Initially Bungoma county governor Kenneth Lusaka defended the party, saying it’s know nationwide, and thus being among the oldest party in the country, which has unique political history, he also opposed it’s dissolution.
In addition Tongaren member of Parliament John Chikati, alleged that the dissolution of political parties, undermines the freedom of multipartism in the country and thus returns the nation in one party state.
