

The world of journalism has been shaken by the sudden passing of former KTN journalist Nick Mudimba. The CGTN senior reporter, who had previously worked at KTN and Switch TV, collapsed and tragically passed away at his home in Syokimau, Machakos County.
Mudimba had been battling an illness that included high levels of uric acid, for which he had received treatment just a day before his passing. Despite showing signs of recovery, he watched the Harambee Stars football match with the Gabon national team before collapsing, marking the end of his illustrious career as a renowned sports journalist.
Known for his passion for the game, Mudimba was not only dedicated to his work but also mentored aspiring sportscasters. Just days before his untimely death, he took to social media to hype up the football match between Kenya and Gabon, showcasing his unwavering enthusiasm for the sport.The news of his passing prompted an outpouring of grief from the journalism community, with colleagues and friends expressing their shock and sadness.
